O Orion

Your files, on your own machine.

Orion is a desktop for one server: the files on its data volume, its spaces and shares, the apps it has installed and the systemd units that serve them. Everything you see is read from the machine, and every change is written to it.

Accounts, billing and cancellation live in Magnate — one account and one bill for every Innotel service. Buying Orion creates your account and grants the orion-users role, so the desktop opens the next time you sign in. Already subscribed? Sign in on the left; Authentik hands you straight to the desktop.

Files that are really there.

Every file action is a call on the machine's data volume, not a picture of one. Trash is recoverable, and a delete is a delete.

Apps that are really installed.

dpkg decides whether a package is present and systemd decides whether it answers — the same view your terminal has.

Sharing without a second password.

SMB accounts are the spaces themselves. Orion never stores the share password, and every write needs a signed-in session.
